October is Child Abuse Prevention Month
Ontario’s Children Aid Societies have been raising awareness during October for Child Abuse Prevention for over twenty years. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness on a provincial and community level, engaging the public, media and families across Ontario.
Each year we invite our community to participate in Child Abuse Prevention Month by "Going Purple for Prevention". The response has been tremendous year after year!
In 2013 well over 70 local organizations and almost 8,000 individuals participated in the campaign!
We would like to thank Windsor-Essex and our partners across the province for raising awareness about these very important concerns.
